DIS ELECTRICAL JERSEY CLOSED TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT, 25 April MEDIA REPORT.

Veteran (Over 40 ) singles
Bruce Gallichan avenged his surprise defeat by Kevin Allen with a 4-1 win but then he lost 4-0 to Eugene Ellis. In the other half Tom Quinn beat Clive Hansford 4-1, while Bobby Vincent went 2-0 up , was pulled back to 2-2 by Mark Liron before gong through 4-2. Vincent then beat Quinn 4-0 to set up a final against CCC team mate Ellis.

In the 3rd division singles, Tom Morgan beat Helen Liron 3-1 then veteran Harry Cooper 3-0 in the semi-final. Sam Allen went 2-1 down before beating Brian Nicolle 3-2. He then beat Matthieu Fisher 3-1 to reach the final. After being team mates in the title winning CCC team, Morgan and Allen now face each other in the final.

The 4th division singles had 9 entrants, all newcomers this season. Jack Messervy beat Freddie Phipps then Jack Mills and Philip Quinn, all by 3-0 to reach the final. Jodie Le Maistre beat Emily Robins 3-0, then recovered from losing the first game 12-10 to beat Jordan Wykes 3-1 to reach the final and face Meservy.
